When it comes to fall layers, the more the merrier! At the same time I like to mix them up with my summer dresses. Putting a pair of leggings under a summer dress is a perfect solution for fall. I love these White Plum leggings - they are stretchy and confy, plus super soft. Today I'm bringing to you a giveaway for any pair of leggings from White Plum. They have so many different prints and options but I was boring and picked the black ones. Still, they match with everything and can be worn entire season.
Plus White Plum is offering 20% OFF your entire purchase to Happy Medley readers with code HM20 until 10/11

Go to my Instagram account to enter the giveaway!
**No purchase is necessary to enter or to win. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Must be US resident, 18 years or older. Must enter by October 10, 2015 at 11:59 PT. Modern 70's

satchel: BCBG via TJMaxx c/o (similar here & love this one
glasses: Kate Spade (on sale 40% off)
watch: Fossil (loooove these)
bracelets: My Arm Charms c/o
pumps: Target (love these)

If you have been paying attention to the fashion world, you noticed that this fall it's all about the 70's. Although I'm not a huge fan of the era (so much fringe!), I can get behind 'everything denim' trend. Especially since I don't have to buy things like flares (they have been laying in my closet for almost nine years) and this denim skirt (from my high school days). And the fact that I fit into a skirt that I wore in high school has me all giddy. It also proves the fact that I wasn't the prom queen (ha!).
This outfit was inspired by this look but I'm not sure how close I got. Do you think I look half as cool as she does in her outfit posts?

P.S Don't forget today is the last day to enter the giveaway for two bracelets of your choice!

Welcome back to another work week! Although it seems like the entire blogging world is partying down in New York City during NYFW. I'm so excited for fall with so much trends like denim on denim, lots (and lots) of red, as well as some old trends coming back. Flares! Who knew that if I kept my flares from about seven years ago, they would be such a hit?! Now if only they would fit this postpartum belly. I've been keeping an eye on so many NYFW shows and excited to share the round up with you. Follow me on Instagram for the latest updates as well! Thanks for stopping by!

There is no doubt, red is my favorite color this season. Another favorite thing of mine is to scour gorgeous clothes for fraction of the cost. I found this skirt during my recent thrift store shopping spree and couldn't believe my eyes that I found exactly what I was looking for. I love the ease of movement and the countless ways I can style it (also how gorgeous is this one?).Also I'm loving the bow striped pumps (unfortunately they sold out) in this outfit. Can't stop thinking of more ways to wear them. Are you into mdi skirts or shy away from their particular styling? Thank you for stopping by!

Dressed Up White Tee

tee: SheIn c/o
leggings: Nordstrom (similar)
bag: TJMaxx (similar)
pumps: Choies c/o
glasses: Karen Walker (via shop Ditto)

I've always been a fan of simple white tee - there are so many ways to wear it. Dressed up or down, borrowed from husband or skin tight, it's staple in every woman's closet. I love this tee from SheIn because, well, it makes an excellent point. ha! Also, dressing it up was one of the easiest outfits I put together - simple outfit, pumps, and statement bag. Done!
I don't ask this very often, but I'm in a contest for feature in LUCKY magazine. If you would please take some time and vote for my look, I would really (I mean really) appreciate it.

Tribal Print

bag: Amazon
watch: Fossil
bracelet: TJMaxx c/o

Hello there! It seems like I have been away from blogging for a hundred year, while in reality I actually only took one week off. There is nothing like social pressure and Instagram pictures to whip you back into shape right away. ha! jk!
When I was thinking about my postpartum body and how I'm going to post outfits, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. The ideal is to show your bump entire pregnancy and then have flat stomach by the time you walk out of the hospital. Well, that's not reality. I have a few pound (and inches of flabby skin) to loose, but I'm OK with that. This time around, I'm kind to my body and much more understanding that it will take a little time. I did just give birth to an entire human being and it took nine months to grow that belly. In the mean time, shapewear to the rescue. So here is to the first postpartum outfit post.
